These pictures aren’t great but I thought I would share them anyway. I walked into the master bathroom one evening recently and glanced out the window and look what was looking back at me….an owl! I hurried to get my camera and took a few pictures. I was afraid that if I tried to go outside to take the pictures he might fly away so these are through the window….. Mr Owl watched me as long as I watched him….

The next morning I looked out the window by the deck hoping Mr Owl would be back and look what I saw!! The sun was streaming from behind the trees but I could see not one owl but two!! I grabbed the camera and took some pictures of Mr Owl and his mate (I assume)….

I hope they hang around awhile. I will try to get outside and get some better pictures of them. They are beautiful birds!

  13. You were so fortunate to see two owls! A few years ago, late at night, we saw a mother owl and her young ones flying around in our back yard. She was teaching them how to fly and they called back and forth to one another. It was the coolest thing, but we didn't get pictures!

  14. Hi Susan!

Great pictures! With those owls you won't have any mice around. Or any other little critters... like tiny dogs or kittens, so be careful you have any.

Thanks for hosting this fun party :)
